Hospice Care

Hospice care provides compassionate, specialized support for individuals facing a life-limiting illness, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Services are primarily provided in the comfort of the patient’s home or place of residence, based on individual needs.

At Mi Casa Healthcare, we are proud to be locally based on the Southside of San Antonio, serving our community with care that is personal, accessible, and rooted in trust. As a women-led organization, we lead with compassion, strength, and a genuine commitment to treating every patient like family.

Our interdisciplinary team—including nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, and aides—works together to care for the whole person. We focus not only on managing physical symptoms, but also on supporting the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of both patients and their families.

Our hospice services include:
• Pain and symptom management to ensure comfort
• Emotional and spiritual support for patients and families
• Assistance with daily care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Medication management and coordination of care
• Education and guidance for caregivers
• Bereavement support for loved ones after loss
